Packaging associated with an air sensitive indicator element (5) which provides an observable change on exposure to air, e.g. as a result of removal of a lid (4) from a container (1). The indicator element may be Crystal Violet Lactone formulated in a suitable solvent for application to a substrate (e.g. Thin Layer Chromatography paper) which incorporates an acidic material which promotes a colour formation reaction. |
