PURPOSE:To mold a structural material whose strength is high and deterioration is small, by a method wherein monolithic molding is performed after casting of rigid polyurethane stock solution within a mold where a rigid fiber body having almost the same form as that of a target product is arranged as a core material. CONSTITUTION:A mold constituted of a bottom, intermediate and top forces 1, 2, 3 is prepared. A rigid fiber body 4 having almost the same form as that of a product is arranged within the intermediate force of the mold and a rigid polyurethane stock solution is cast whith in the intermediate force 2. Then after clamping of the top force 3, monolithic molding is performed by either applying appropriate force to the mold or closing up tightly by making use of a screw and clamp and a structural material 5, whose strength is high and deterioration is small, is manufactured. The foregoing rigid fiber body 4 is obtained by a method wherein after synthetic resin is extruded and made fibrous with injection molding, the same is made netted through random molding. An obtained structured material is useful as synthetic lumber, a furnature material and a reinforcing material. |
