<p>PURPOSE:To operate a gas sorption machine always with optimum sorption efficiency by sensing pressure loss of gas to be treated in the front and rear surfaces of a treatment zone of a gas sorption rotor and converting the same into an electrical signal and controlling the number of rotations of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A gas sorption rotor 2 having a number of small through-holes provided from one end surface all through the other end surface of a cylinder and with a gas sorption agent exposed on the respective small through-holes is rotatably journaled. As the rotor 2 rotates, gas 9 to be treated and gas 10 for regeneration are passed alternately through the treatment zone 5 of the rotor 2 and the regeneration zone 6. The number of rotations of the rotor 2 is controlled in accordance with the pressure difference between a flow inlet to the rotor 2 and a flow outlet out of the rotor 2 for said gas to be treated or the gas for regeneration. As a result, a gas sorption machine can be operated with the number of rotations having the highest sorption efficiency.</p> |
