PATTERN DISTORTION CORRECTION DEVICE FOR CATHODE RAY TUBE DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for special power loss by correction by giving left right pin cushion distortion correction to a horizontal deflection output circuit through a power supply of the horizontal deflection output circuit or a diode modulate circuit so as to apply left right pin cushion distortion correc tion to a horizontal deflection current. CONSTITUTION:A control means generates a readout address signal and a readout timing with a vertical synchronizing signal VD and a horizontal flyback pulse FBP, reads a left right pin cushion correction data in matching with the timing from a storage means 24 storing the left right pin cushion distortion correction data and inputs the data to a D/A converter circuit 26. A stepwise analog signal outputted from the D/A converter circuit 26 is inputted to a modu lation circuit 23 applying modulation to a power supply voltage fed to the horizontal deflection output circuit via a flyback transformer 7 to modulate the power voltage fed to a horizontal linearity coil 27 of the horizontal deflec tion output circuit 22. Thus, the left right pin cushion distortion is corrected and adjusted.
