PURPOSE:To offer an image forming device where it does not take much time to start forming an image and there is no possibility that an original is damaged by counting the originals by a counting means in course of feeding when the original on a 2nd original platen is fed to a 1st original platen. CONSTITUTION:In the case of feeding the bundle of originals SS on an accumulating tray 320 to an accumulating tray 310, a feeding means 350 is controlled so that the bundle of originals SS on the tray 320 is unbound to separate the originals one by one, while the number of times for separating the originals by the feeding means 350 is counted. At the time of starting copying, a copying machine main body 100 is controlled based on the counted value lest the first side of a copy should become blank in the case of odd number of originals. Thus, it is unnecessary to make the originals circulate on the accumulating tray 310 in order to count the number of originals after feeding the originals to the tray 310. Then, it does not take much time to start copying and there is no possibility that the original is damaged. |
