<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently perform the high degree treatment of tap water by forming a fixed bed by providing space columns and activated carbon columns in a mixed state and providing an air diffusion pipe to the lower part in a tank. CONSTITUTION:When oxygen-containing gas 20 is injected in a right chamber 28 by opening the valve 30b on the side of an air diffusion pipe 19b, water to be treated falls through the space columns 22 of the fixed bed 21a of a left chamber 27 to reach the lower part of the fixed bed and, during the flowing down of the water to be treated, adsorption and biological reaction are performed by the biological activated carbon received in activated carbon columns 24 and dissolved oxygen. The water to be treated reaching the lower part of the left chamber 27 enters the right chamber 28 through the communication part 29 below a partition plate 26. Oxygen-containing gas is introduced into the water to be treated from the air diffusion pipe 19b in the right chamber 28 and becomes air bubbles to rise through the space columns 22 of the fixed bed 21b and the water to be treated also flows upwardly through the fixed bed 21b. By this method, highly efficient purification is performed.</p> |
