A fastening device for anchoring things onto support structures of vehicles in general, such as roof racks and the like, is characterized in that it is provided with at least one substantially elastic guy provided with a hook. The guy may be elastically wound up inside a container body which is suitable for being fastened, with possibility of removal, to the support structure. The container body is externally equipped with a retaining device for retaining a portion of the guy with the retaining device being integrally affixed to the container body.
