<p>PURPOSE:To surely prevent the generation of a contact accident by inputting the distance or approaching degree of a vehicle from/to an obstacle and adopting a fuzzy inference system for inferring a brake control variable or a steering instruction variable. CONSTITUTION:The 1st measuring part 1 outputs a measuring value S1 from the rear part of a vehicle up to an obstacle. The 2nd measuring part 3 outputs a value indicating the approaching degree of the vehicle to the obstacle as a measuring value S2. The measuring values S1, S2 are applied to sampling and holding circuits 2, 4 as electric signals and the circuits 2, 4 sample and hold these electric signals and apply their held values x1, x2 to a fuzzy inference part 5. The inference part 5 enters the inputs x1, x2, executes fuzzy inference in accordance with plural fuzzy rules stored in a rule storage part 6 and gives an output y' relating to a brake control variable to a control part 8 through an amplifier 7 as the fuzzy inference result. The control part 8 controls braking force based upon the inference result of the inference part 5.</p> |
