<p>PURPOSE:To allow a physically handicapped person or an old person to sit on a bed and droop the feet on the floor face by providing a bend operating mechanism erecting a back receiving support frame when a rotary frame is rotated by the driving force of a rotary operating mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A rotary operating mechanism is provided between a fixed frame 1 and a rotary frame 6 so that the protruded circular arc-shaped section of a front bed section 20a is rotated and stopped from the longitudinal direction to either one of the right and left directions with respect to a rear bed section 20b, and a bend operating mechanism erecting a back receiving support frame 21b when the rotary frame 6 is rotated is provided. When a physically handi capped person or an old person is to be lowered from a bed, the rotary operat ing mechanism is driven to rotate the front bed 20a side by 90 deg. to the rear bed section 20b. The upper half body is concurrently erected, the person is slid on the rear bed section 20b fixed with the feet side and slid down from the rear bed section 20b into a sitting attitude, then the person can get down from the bed and rise.</p> |
