<p>PURPOSE: To enhance peak pressure strength, to reduce the weight, and to prevent damage from being generated on the outer range by providing ring- shaped upheaving parts on at least one tip of a synthetic material pipe and setting the outside diameter of the upheaving part on the tip approximately equal to the inside diameter of a sleeve. CONSTITUTION: Respective composite pipes 1 are provided with tips, the tips are the ends of the composite pipe 1 to be inserted into a double insertion sleeve 2. The pipe 1 is provided with the outside diameter D equal to the outside diameter (d) of the sleeve 2 in the range over the tip, namely, the range of the upheaving parts 5, the wall thickness (a) of the sleeve 2 is selected to, the inside diameter (d)=D-2a. The outside diameter D' of the tip is approximately equal to the inside diameter (d) of the sleeve 2. Since respective ends of the sleeve 2 have insertion inclined surfaces 12, the sleeve 2 can be attached by being slid on the tip, and the sleeve 2 can be attached to the tip without any clearance.</p> |
