CONSTITUTION:A straight line exceeding the screen frame of a CRT is segmented by the screen frame or the fixed frame larger than the screen frame, the intersecting points with the edges of these frames are respectively set up as the start and end points, and coordinates of the start and end points are set up on an input parameter setting part 114 by a display part processor 130. A differential analyzer 115 developes the straight line between the set start and end points. Then a masking circuit 116 masks the generated straight line other than the parts left in the windows set up in a window frame setting part 113. Only the displayed picture elements of the straight lines in the windows are written in a frame memory 117 and the contents of the memory 117 are displayed on the screen 105.
