PURPOSE:To obtain a high power factor by providing a capacitor connected with first and second full-wave rectifier diode bridge circuits in a predetermined manner. CONSTITUTION:A DC power supply is composed of a first full-wave rectifier diode bridge circuit 22 for rectifying an AC power supply 21 and a voltage doubler rectifying circuit 23 to supply a load 25 with power. Further, the voltage doubler rectifying circuit 23 is composed of a pair of capacitors C1-C2 and a second full-wave rectifier diode bridge circuit 24, and the capacitors C1-C2 are mutually charged and discharged by the potential of AC supply voltage. As a result, it is possible to increase the part of the load 25 to which a current is caused to flow directly from the AC power supply 21. |
