PURPOSE:To obtain a purifying agent that begins to purify oil smoke from temp. about 150 deg.C by kneading salts selected from the group of ferric sulfate, cupric chloride and chromic chloride and a cement material and molding the mixture. CONSTITUTION:The salad oil 4 added on a receiving tray 3 for cooking is heated by a heater 2 built in a body 1 of an electric oven. The oil smoke 5 produced from the oil 4 is conducted from the inside of a cooking chamber 6 into a flow passage inlet 7 where it comes into contact with an oil smoke purifying agent 8, thence it is discharged through an outlet 9 into the chamber. The temp. in the cooking chamber is 150 deg.C. The concn. of the oil smoke is the concn. of the oil smoke at the outlet 9 upon lapse of 20min after heating of the oil 4. The agent 8 is made by kneading powder of Fe2(SO4)3, CuCl2, CrCl3, and a cement agent with water and 2wt% CMC and molding the mixture to a honeycomb shape, and is a honeycomb body that has plural pieces of holes of 7mm.<2> area, and has 42% opening rate with respect to bottom area, 80cm<2> bottom area, and 10mm. thickness. The purifying agent purifies oil smoke well. The molding kneaded with the cement material has excellent heat resistant and abrasion resistance by oscillations. The molding kneaded with lime aluminate is much better. |
