PURPOSE:To form an image higher in the density than the array density by emitting light intermittently at a specified position synchronizing the vibration of a special lens provided between a LED array and a photosensitive body in the direction parallel to the arrangement of the array. CONSTITUTION:A lens 20 (an array of lenses 23-23'' provided corresponding to blocks 13-13'' of LEDS12) is provided between an LED array 10 in which LEDs 12 are arranged in linearity and a photosensitive body 30 to form equal ratio inverted images. It is vibrated with an actuator 29 in the direction parallel to the arrangement of the LEDs 12. The LEDs emit light at a position where the image of the LEDs on the photosensitive body 30 diviates before and after the reference position (the center of reciprocation) by a distance equivalent to 1/4 as large as the arranged pitch of the LEDs or for each of a section including the position. |
