Arrangement for hanging facade facing panels

A method for attaching facade facing panels of stone or similar to a wall is described. The system comprises a profiled carrier with flanges which locate in grooves running continuously along the two edges of opposing facng panels. Profiled fasteners are located around the flanges in the corner areas of the facing panels to give a two-point support to the panels. The remaining space between the flanges and the groove walls is filled with an elastomeric adhesive pref. silicone.
