PURPOSE:To obtain an SP chart in which the thickness of a line, writing pressure, and a character are uniformized by inputting a symbol, arrangement required for the generation of the SP chart from a keyboard, and displaying them on a CRT from a registration data file in a memory. CONSTITUTION:When a new SP chart is drawn, the symbol and vocabulary, etc., desiring to display are designated by using a mouse 1-3. A CPU 1-1 receiving a signal from a tablet displays it on the CRT 1-7 corresponding to the format of the registration data file in a disk 1-5. When an error exists in display on the CRT 1-7 obtained in such way, or it is desired to correct the display, correction is performed by moving the CPU 1-1 on the keyboard 1-2. The CPU 1-1 refers to the registration file in the disk 1-5 based on a correction signal, and corrects a display content on the CRT 1-7, then the SP chart can be obtained. Finally, a hard copy is outputted from a hard copying machine 1-6.
