The oscillation maintaining circuit ues a storage capacitor whcih is charged via a diode tot he extreme value of the sinusoidal oscillation of the resonance network. The storage capacitor is discharged via a discharge path with a time constant ensuring that the capacitor is discharged within the period duration of the sinusoidal oscillation. A switch element is controlled by the charge voltage of the capacitor, to provide a control signal when the charge voltage is less than the exteme value of the sinusoidal oscillation. The control signal at the switch output (14) is fed to a controlled switch in series with the resonance network across a supply voltage. ADVANTAGE - Ensures energy pulse is provided at correct time point for maintaining oscillation.
