A moving poster stand comprises a frame (10) having attached thereto rotatable rollers (28,30) for rotating a poster carrying belt (32) into a variety of positions in which different posters are viewable through a view window on the front of the frame (10). The view window is covered by a transparent plate or foil (12) which can be switched between transparent and opaque conditions by varying an applied electric potential. USE/ADVANTAGE - Sports stadiums e.g. for advertising of football matches. Screen can be made opaque as adverts are changing so as not to irritate viewer by showing only parts of pictures, and then switched to transparent when the next poster is in place. A compact, light and inexpensive system.
