PURPOSE:To follow a high speed key input operation and to surely carry out the key input process by controlling properly the executing time of the input arithmetic/display process. CONSTITUTION:The character data received from a keyboard 11 is stored tempo rarily in a key input buffer 12 and then fetched to a CPU13. The CPU13 inputs the character data read out of the buffer 12 to a text memory 14 and at the same time carries out a key input process which is displayed and outputted via the text screen of a display part 15. In this case, it is possible to properly control the executing time of the input arithmetic process to obtain the present position of an input cursor and the display process of the arithmetic process. Therefore the least and necessary processing is secured in such a case where the characters such as the alphabet, etc., are inputted at a high speed via the key operations. Thus it is possible to follow a high speed key input operation and to surely carry out the key input process. |
