<p>PURPOSE:To attain a proofreading operation in a short time for a document by using such an error pattern detection means that can detect plural wrong character strings with a single sentence scanning operation. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 is prepared together with a ROM 2, a RAM 3, a keyboard 4, a DISK 5, a cursor register CR 6, a CRT controller CRTC 7, a CRT 8, a character generator CG 9, and a display buffer memory DBUF 10. Then plural wrong character strings can be detected just with a single scanning operation of a document by means of a pattern matching dictionary ACNET contained in a RAM 3. Thus a proofreading operation is attained with high executing efficiency as a whole.</p> |
