PURPOSE:To stretch a packaged body in both directions and to prevent surely the packaged body from breaking down even when the packaged body consists of a number of packages of small vol. by drawing a film in the longitudinal and width directions. CONSTITUTION:A film (b) passing through between drawing rolls 3 and 3' is drawn uniformly in the longitudinal direction as the drawing roll 3' on the down stream side has a larger circumferential speed and in the width direction, at the parts where projected parts 6 and groove parts 7 intermesh, it is little drawn but at other parts, it is drawn in accordance with the outer shapes of the projected parts 6 and groove parts 7. wave-like undrawn parts b1 corresponding to the intermeshed parts of the projected parts 6 and groove parts 7 and drawn parts b2 are formed on the drawn film (b) in the width direction. The drawn film (b) is pinched at both ends in the width direction by means of a pair of spreaders 4 and 4' in such a way that it is extended by an angle THETA in the width direction and the film is wound on a packaged body a on a turn table 1 through an idler 5. Even when the packaged body consists of a number of packages of small vol., the film stretches not only in the longitudinal direction but in the width direction and breaking down of the package can be prevented thereby. |
