The picture frame has frame strips and corner connectors. The frame strips (1 to 4) have a longitudinal groove (12) at the back while the corner connectors (5) are each formed by a plate body (13) engaging over the relative joint (7) at the back. Two push-in projections (14, 15) protrude in one piece at right angles from the front side of the plate body (13) and have a clamping width corresponding to the width (b) of the longitudinal groove. The projections each engage in one of the two longitudinal grooves (12, 12') of the strips which meet at the joining point. USE/ADVANTAGE - Quick and easy assembly and increased stability.
