A floor or roof made of reinforced concrete has the reinforcing rods arranged in the form of a cage. The cage consists of an upper horizontal member (1), which is bent to zig-zag form and a lower horizontal member (2) of similar form. These horizontal members (1, 2) are joined to each other by vertical struts (3). The cage supports a heating pipe (4) which is embedded in the finished concrete structure.
