The layer of plaster applied to a wall is reinforced by plastics mesh or netting wire (1). This is positioned so that it lies in the outer third of the thickness of the plaster layer. The reinforcement is held in the required position by means of spacer bars (2). These bars are fastened to the reinforcement by means of clips. The bars are made of a moisture repellant material such as rigid foam plastics with sealed pores. The plastics mesh is made from a tear-resistant plastics. USE - Plaster coating of walls.
