PURPOSE: To simplify the constitution by including two side faces for alternate storage and transmission of picture data in a picture frame buffer and specifying an operation related to each picture element. CONSTITUTION: A picture frame buffer 20 contains a side A and a side B. One side supplies picture data to refresh a display unit D, and the other receives picture written data for the next frame of display, and these functions are exchanged after each operation. With respect to each picture element, a window frame buffer 24 prescribes a window, and an effective data face 26 distinguishes effective data for each picture element of each window dependently upon an effective count register 33, and an effective bit register 36 sets sides A and B of the frame buffer 20 by the change in the effective data face 26. Thus, a dynamic display system is conveniently and economically executed. |
