A prefabricated component designed to be affixed to any metal construction that requires a contact blade to be anchored conductively in that construction consists of a carrier plate (1) which in the centre carries a contact blade (3) and on both sides has a hooked end portion (2). These end portions have rugged edges intended to be forced into an aperture (7) provided on the construction plate (5). There are slots (6) on both sides of the carrier part (1). A widened portion (4) ensures that the carrier plate (1) is not forced into the aperture even if it is wider than the bent portion (2). The purpose of the slots (6) is to permit a certain give so that the end portions (2) bite themselves into the aperture of the construction part concerned when pressed into it. ADVANTAGE - Rugged edges of insertion portion (2) clean surface from any paint or oxide layer and therefore produces a very low-ohmic contact with the machinery or box, etc. with which the electric contact is or will be required be it for control purposes or for the grounding of equipment items.
