PURPOSE:To execute good recording uniformly over the entire surface of a disk without modulating incident light power by forming a thin film which is gradually increased in the amt. of Sb from the inner peripheral part to the outer peripheral part on the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The recording information medium is composed of the thin film essentially consisting of the alloy film made of the compsn. consisting of 40 to 80 atomic % Sb and 20 to 60 atomic % Se. This thin film is formed on a substrate by gradually increasing the amt. of the Sb from the inner peripheral part to the outer peripheral part. The crystallization temp. is high in the inner peripheral part where the amt. of the Sb is small and the crystallization temp. is low in the outer peripheral part where the amt. of the Sb is large in this way. The good recording is, therefore, executed over the entire surface of the disk without modulating the incident light power even if the line speed changes. |
