Process parallel image scanning - using ultrasound imaging device with adaptive focussing

In a process for constructing a parallel scanned image with an ultra sound imaging device with adaptive focussing, the scan is carried out in the adjustment stage with the largest possible emitting and receiving apertures, to obtain correction values which are then used to compensate in the following real time scan to provide adaptive focussing. In the adjustment stage the scan lines are divided up into different colour regionsa whose middle points intersect with the transmitter beam such that the emitter aperture is bigger than the receiving aperture. USE/ADVANTAGE - Produces good quality image by adaptive focussing by compensation values obtained in adjustment stage.
