DIRECTION MECHANISM FOR TRACK VEHICLE

摘要

The solution consists in the design of mechanical steering of track vehicles, like snow transport vehicles, agricultural or industrial vehicles by means of steering wheel, where the steering wheel replaces the presently used double lever steering system. The movement of the steering wheel is transferred by means of a pulling rod and a lever mechanism to vacuum servo boosters connected by means of tube distribution system with brake cylinders onto brake blocks of the brake disks firmly mounted on drive shafts of the differential gear unit. The tilting steering wheel in its top position shortens the pulling rods and with the help of the servo boosters it closes the whole braking mechanism and secures the vehicle against arbitrary movement.<IMAGE>
