PURPOSE:To improve the slip limit between a rail and a wheel without increasing the weight of vehicle body by applying brake force while attracting the vehicle magnetically to the rail side. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle body 1 travels through wheels 2 on a rail 3, and brake force is provided by applying a brake pad 4 onto the axle of the wheel 2. A magnetic force generator 5 such as an electromagnetic coil is arranged at the lower section of the vehicle body 1. The magnetic force generator 5 produces magnetic force for attracting the vehicle 3 to the rail 3 side between the magnetic force generator 5 and the magnetic rail 3 or a magnetic body arranged between the rails. By such arrangement, slip limit is improved. |
