The solution concerns a clamp of a lathe tool /6/ in boring bar /1/ containing radially arranged tool bush /7/ with preset dimension to engagement with a screw /8/ in working part /2/ of the body. The tool bush of square cross section /7/ is equipped with passing longitudinal pyramidal self-clamping hole /3/. The necessary clamping force for lathe tool /6/ clamping is derived from tool forces, by means of which the lathe tool is pressed to the machined material. The components that stress the tool are evenly distributed on the separate walls of the tool, thus pressing it into the self-clamping pyramidal hole /3/ and securing firm clamping.<IMAGE>
