PURPOSE:To largely decrease contact resistance and improve reliability by carrying out electrical connection between a connecting a wiring and a superconductor substantially at the surface other than the surface of the superconductor. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive film 2 and a lead wire 5 are connected with each other by utilizing a connecting hole 3 formed in the film 5 fabricated on a substrate 1. A coating layer 6 of a metal, with good electrical conductivity, is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the hole 3 for decreasing contact resistance, and the lead wire 5 is fixed by electrically conductive paste 4. An oxide superconductor has large anisotropy of coherence lengths representing the strength of superconductivity, and the coherence length in c-axis direction is about 1/10, which is shorter than those in a-axis and b-axis directions, so that the superconductivity is lower in that direction. Contact in the direction of the side surface, i.e., in the direction perpendicular to the c-axis, can be obtained by providing the hole 3 in the superconductor to utilize proximity effect by storing superconductivity, so that electrically good ohmic contact can be obtained.
