PURPOSE:To inform the presence of a caller at a called station by allowing a base station to call a pager receiver juxtaposed on the automobile telephone set of a called station when communication is disabled. CONSTITUTION:The subject system is constituted of a telephone set section (a) and a pager receiver section (b). When a call comes to an automobile telephone set, a base station calls the called station by its telephone set number and when no reply is given, the station dials (8) to the caller and when a message to be sent exists, the message and the caller telephone number are received. Moreover, the paging number of a called station store corresponding to the dial number is read and the message and the caller telephone number are transferred to a paging station. The paging station sends the caller telephone number and the message to the called station of a relevant paging number and the display section 15 of the pager receiver section (b) of the called station receiving them displays the caller telephone number and the message. Thus, even when no reply comes from the called station due to defective radio wave propagation or power interruption, the arrival of a call is informed to the automobile telephone set. |
