PURPOSE:To improve the low-temp. fixability, non-offsetting property and environmental dependency of a toner by using a specific urethane modified resin as a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:This toner is formed by using the urethane modified resin which is obtd. by adding an isocyanate compd. (B) to polyester (A) having 6 to 40 mgKOH/g acid value and 20 to 120mgKOH/g hydroxyl value to bring the isocyanato group of 0.1 to 0.7equiv. per 1 equiv. hydroxyl group into reaction and has 6 to 40mgKOH/g acid value and 8 to 130 deg.C softening point as the binder resin. The resin obtd. by the reaction of the diol component consisting of the ethylene oxide addition product of the cyclohexane dimethanol and bisphenol A and terephthalic acid, etc., are usable for the component A and diphenyl methane diisocyanate, etc., are usable for the component B. |
