The invention concerns the method of producing light and chemically stable solutions of tri-functional isocyanates. This objective is achieved by a method where bi-functional isocyanate is allowed to react with a tri-hydroxy compound in an environment of keton or ester solvents with the catalytic effect of organic metal catalysts.The solution can be applied as a cross-linking reagent for polyurethane and polychloroprene adhesives, as well as for coatings and lacquers.
