PURPOSE:To reduce dynamic current consumption by connecting a 2nd P-channel transistor(TR) between the source of a 1st P-channel TR and a power supply and a 2nd P-channel TR between the source of a 1st N-channel TR and ground respectively, and driving the MOS TRs with an input signal. CONSTITUTION:A 2nd P-channel MOS TR P2 is inserted between the source of a P-channel MOS TR P1 and a power supply 3 and a 2nd N-channel MOS TR N2 is inserted between a 1st N-channel MOS TR N2 and ground 4, respectively. The potential when the 4 MOS TRs are turned on while the input signal is inverted exists within a very small potential region between the potential sum of the threshold levels of the 2 N-channel MOS TRs and the power supply potential subtracted by the threshold levels of the 2 N-channel MOS TRs. Thus, since a time of many currents flow at the time of inverting the signal is very small, the dynamic current consumption is reduced. |
