The solution concerns a device that enables during reversing a table, for example of a grinding machine, its persistence in dead point for a period of time preset by operating personnel. The device has a hydraulic cylinder connected to a main control distributor (1), which is connected to a source of pressurized medium and a waste. The cylindrical space (2) of the main controlling distributor (1) is on both ends closed by covers (6, 7) with suspended adjustable stops (11, 12). Between the opposite-standing stops (11, 12) there is a reversing slide (3) and both spaces between the face of the reversing slide (3) and the opposite adjustable stop (11, 12) there are channels (4, 5) connected to the reversing distributor, which is connected with the source and waste of the control pressurized medium. Both spaces between the cover (6, 7) and the suspended adjustable stop (11, 12) are connected by means of outlets (8, 9) with a control distributor (10).<IMAGE>
