LIGHT-SENSITIVE POLYMERIC SUBSTANCE AND METHOD OF ITS PREPARATION

The solution concerns the light sensitive polymeric substance of the general formula I and its preparation method where the photochemical reaction of aromatic diazonium salt combined with the polymer carrier is used for the write of the light information. The light sensitive polymeric substance of the general formula I, whereR1, R2 is -SO3H;R3 is -Cl,-NH2, -NH-phenylX is Cl; Br,polymer is polyvinyl alcohol, hydroxy-alkyl cellulose with the degree of substitution of 1 to 3, carboxymethylcellulose with the degree of substitution of 1 to 1.5, is prepared by condensation of triazine azo dye of the general formula II, where R1, R2, R3 have the meaning introduced in the formula I and R4 is -SO3H with the polymer containing free hydroxy groups, defined in the formula I, while the created product is reduced by sodium dithionite into amine, which is diazotized. The light sensitive polymers prepared according to the proposed procedure are characterized by spectral sensitivity up to 600 nm with a maximum in the blue part of the spectrum. The solution can be used in graphic arts industry for write of optical information into the thin layer.
