The purpose of the solution is to secure a precise and reliable operation of a machine and simultaneously to prolong service life of belts, where during the maintenance process and replacement of brushes in direct current drives and during replacement of belts there is no need to disassemble and assemble the covers in the area of the main drive. Also the use of various auxiliary lifting mechanisms is not necessary. The solution itself also ensures a simple, easy and precise setting of mutual position of driving and driven belt pulleys. The above mentioned purpose is achieved by a device, whose main drive (1) is arranged on a hinged frame (2) supported by an adjustable rolling support (12). The frame (2) is axially shiftable with a supporting shaft (4) in consoles (3).<IMAGE>
