A test liquid for injector systems of compression engines that has, at 40 degrees C, a kinematic viscosity of 2.45 to 2.80 mm<2>.s<-1>, combustion temperature of 60 to 105 degrees C and content of aromatic carbon of 0.5 to 11 % (0.5 to 5 %), consisting of a mixture of at least two hydrocarbon fractions of A, B and C, whereas fraction A is a mixture of at least two alkanes C8 to C20 (3 to 60 %), B is a petroleum distillate with a combustion temperature range of 165 to 365 degrees C, with specific mass at 20 degrees C of 800 to 855 kg.m<-3> and viscosity at 20 degrees C of 2.0 to 7.0 mm<2>.s<-1>, including the product of hydrocracking (11 to 96 %) and the refined petroleum distillate with combustion temperature above 360 degrees C, specific mass at 20 degrees C of 840 to 875 kg.m<-3> and viscosity of 65 to 80 mm<2>.s<-1> (4 to 55 %).
