PURPOSE: To automatically obtain a lapping interconnection for turn back diagnostic capacity without requiring a lap cable by an arrangement wherein a plug comprising input and output connectors is plugged removably into a switch mechanism. CONSTITUTION: Outputs 26B, 28B from D/A converters for one or a plurality of channels are delivered automatically to the corresponding inputs of a plurality of A/D converters 30, 32. Consequently, loops are closed and turn back test is performed automatically for the D/A and A/D converters and the operation of the converters 26, 28, 30, 32 are evaluated. When a plug 48 comprising input and output connectors is plugged into a switch mechanism 20, the connector is switched automatically. The feedback loop is opened under that state and the outputs of the converters 26, 28 and the inputs of the converters 30, 32 are connected directly with corresponding ones of output and input connectors. |
