<p>PURPOSE:To boil the rice well at the time of boiling a large quantity or a small quantity of the rice with one main frame by switching the input power in response to the signal from a pan judging means for judging the bottom diameter of a pan. CONSTITUTION:A rice boiler comprises pan judging means 17a-17c for judging the bottom diameter of a pan, and a control circuit 18 switches the input power in response to the signal from the pan judging means 17a-17c. Consequently, when a large quantity of the rice is boiled, the rice is boiled ordinarily by using a large pan, and when a small quantity of the rice is boiled, a small pan of which bottom diameter is small is used and the pan judging means 17a-17c judge that the pan is small and the power can be switched to the input power appropriate for boiling a small quantity of the rice. The rice is thereby boiled well at the time of boiling a small quantity of the rice as well as the case that the rice is boiled with a rice boiler for exclusive use of a small quantity of the rice.</p> |
