<p>PURPOSE:To simply correct a sheet and remove electricity by applying the AC voltage and/or the DC voltage with the opposite polarity to the charge polarity of the sheet to an elastic roller when the sheet is pinched by the elastic roller and an insulating rigid roller pressed to it. CONSTITUTION:The deformation in the opposite direction to a curl is applied to a sheet P in a conveying path pinched by an elastic roller 16 and a rigid roller 15. When the AC voltage and/or the DC voltage in the opposite polarity to the charge polarity of the sheet P is applied to the conducting elastic roller 16, corona discharging is performed at a fine gap between the sheet P and the elastic roller 16, and electric ions thus formed are stuck to the sheet P to neutralize the charges. The curl of the sheet P is corrected, and electricity can be simply removed.</p> |
