Fungicidal compositions contain as active ingredient a compound of the general formula (where A represents -CN or -COOR3, R3 represents alkyl (1-6C) and R' and R2 represent H, alkyl 1-10C opt. substd. by halogen, OH, NO2 cycloalkyl, pseudo halogen, alkoxy (1-4C), aryloxy, alkylthio (1-4C), arylthio, aryl, carboxy, carboxy ester or another tetracyanocyclopropyl group , aryl (opt. substd. by halogen, alkyl, OH, NO2, alkoxy or acyloxy), heterocyclyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, aralkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aralkenyl aralkynyl, acyl, substd. alkenyl, substd. alkynyl, substd. aralkyl, bridged carbocyclyl, carboxy, esterified carboxy, or R1 and R2 together form an alkylene chain opt. substd.). The compositions are useful in the treatment and prevention of plant fungal diseases, and have a certain systemic activity. |
