PURPOSE:To provide a shift function in a ROM itself by providing a control circuit controlling a gate input of 2 kinds of transmission gates connecting to one and same bit line. CONSTITUTION:A shift signal 10 connects directly to NOR gate 2b and a NAND gate 3b. Similarly, a ROM select signal 11 connects directly to NOR gates 2a, 2b. An output signal of NAND gates 3a, 3b is supplied to P-channel transistors (TRs) 4a - 4f and an output signal of the NOR gates 2a, 2b is given to a ROM core of a transmission gate comprising N-channel TRs 5a - 5f. Thus, the ROM core is constituted by the transmission gate, then the shift function is provided simply in the ROM cell. |
