<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the settlement at the time of occurrence of a trouble by displaying at any time an executing state of an application program in a position which does not stand in the way of an operation. CONSTITUTION:When a system 11 is requested from an application program 12, a title bar display requesting part 14 in an application/interface 13 discriminates the kind of a processing, and requests to a title bar display part 17 so as to show a prescribed symbol in a state display area 22 of a title bar 21. The display part 17 displays the symbol concerned. According to this constitution, what part of the program 12 is being executed can be known. This request acceptance and an information display are executed in the operation system 11, therefore, it is unnecessary to integrate a display instruction into the program 12. Also, in accordance with the kind of a request processing, display information of a state is symbolized, for instance, by one character, and shown in the title bar 21 of a window 20, therefore, a state display for exerting no influence on a screen display area 23 can be executed. Accordingly, the settlement at the time of occurrence of a trouble is facilitated.</p> |
