A remote controller has a housing containing an electronic control unit (40), and an identification code memory (46) connected to the control unit. A code transfer device, e.g. an LED (9) is connected to and controlled by the control unit. A receiver e.g. a Hall effect transistor (10) in the housing and connected to the control unit receives a signal generated outside the housing and related to a new identification code to be stored without requiring to open the housing. USE/ADVANTAGE - For the remote control of an actuator, e.g. in a motor car. The code can be written into the apparatus as frequently as required without the housing needing to be opened. |
