PURPOSE:To register a cage call with the voice generated at the time of riding, prevent the reduction of the recognition rate due to the reverberation of an elevator cage room, and make the flow of users riding in a cage smooth by installing a microphone for recognizing voice near a door. CONSTITUTION:When a user rides in an elevator cage, a door 1 is fully opened, and no chime sound is generated by the elevator itself. When the user crosses the door 1, a safety detecting device 8 detects the user and keeps the door in a fully opened state. A sound recognition microphone 4 installed near the door 1 is activated into a sound recognizable state. A sound recognition device is made operable until the door 1 starts to be closed from the activation signal, and it recognizes the sound detected during this period. The sound recognition result is reported to the user by a reporting device 21 installed near the microphone 4. |
