PURPOSE: To control the traction by providing a value element of a brake valve arranged in a control sleeve integrated with a movable wall to demarcate a negative pressure chamber and a booster chamber in a independently controllable manner from the pedal force during the slip control. CONSTITUTION: A negative pressure brake booster is provided with a brake valve 17 to be operated by stepping in a pedal in a control sleeve 18 integrated with a movable wall to be demarcated into a negative pressure chamber and a booster chamber. In the brake valve 17, a valve body 33 is movably provided through a spring 35 relative to a pedal piston 32 connected to a pedal rod 25 abutted on a push rod 7 through a reaction disk 20, and the valve body 33 is independently controllable from the pedal force especially during the slip control. An electromagnet 37 is coaxially provided on the pedal piston 32, and the valve body 33 is displaceable against the spring 35 through the energization thereto. |
