PURPOSE:To get a multi-purpose tire having wide availability for various roads such as a snowy road, a marsh, etc., by arranging lugs on a tread portion of a tire body, in addition, by arranging blocks in the range from a shoulder portion to a side wall portion, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A tire body 1 has a pair of bead portions 3. Each side wall portion 7 extending from the respective bead portions 3 toward an outer periphery of the tire body 1 is combined as one body at a tread portion 9 via the respective shoulder portions 8. In the above-mentioned constitution, many lugs 10, whose longitudinal direction have components at least in the direction of a tire axis, are arranged side by side around a tire body 1 in a range W of the tread. Moreover, many blocks 11 are arranged so as to scatter in the range of a side wall S from a shoulder portion 8 in both sides of the range of the tread W up to both sides of the side wall portion 7. By this constitution, a tire having wide availability for various roads such as a snowy road, a marsh, etc., can be obtained. |
